The Crystal Conference and Awards is KHM Travel Group’s premier event each year. We bring together our agents, suppliers, and staff to share business-building tips and travel trends, celebrate our accomplishments of the previous year, and keep the momentum going for the year ahead!

The Crystal Conference & Awards is our premiere event of the year where we honor our agents' accomplishments and network with travel suppliers, fellow agents, and the KHM Travel Group team. Most importantly, we revitalize our collective love of travel. Travel agents attended exclusive educational sessions from 50+ travel suppliers while on board Princess Cruises' Ruby Princess. With over 350 attendees, this was our largest Crystal Conference yet, with more travel agents, suppliers and networking than ever before!

CRYSTAL CONFERENCE FAQS

WILL THERE BE A PAYMENT PLAN THIS YEAR?

We will not be offering a payment plan this year. Final payment is due November 30th, 2018. You may call or email in at any time to make payments.

ARE AIRFARE/TRANSFERS INCLUDED?

All agents are responsible for their own air, transfers, and any pre/post-cruise accommodations.

CAN AGENTS BRING THEIR SPOUSES AND/OR CHILDREN?

Agents can share their cabins with a non-industry roommate. This roommate can be whomever they chose. 3 / 4 rates are available upon request. Triple and Quad occupancy can be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Requests may take up to 72 hours to confirm. All Triple and Quad rooms will require full state room deposits. We have to request this cabin type and they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If bringing children, please double check with the Princess Cruises for age limitations.

ARE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE CABINS AVAILABLE?

ADA-accessible cabins are available upon request. Please allow up to 72 hours for us to confirm your request for an ADA-accessible cabin.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF GUESTS THAT CAN ATTEND WITH AN AGENT?

Agents are encouraged to bring a guest and depending on space may be able to have 3 / 4 rates apply. We have a limited number available and they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. All agents are required to be at all events. Guests will be invited to select events.

HOW MUCH FREE TIME WILL WE HAVE ON THE CRUISE?

There will be ample free time on the ship as well as in port for you to explore, relax and schedule your time as you wish. This year, we have Anytime Dining, so the evenings will be less structured than previous years, with plenty of time to have at your leisure. Please view the tentative schedule at the top of this page to get a better idea of when you will have free time.

CAN I USE KHM CASH?

2018 Basecamp and Pinnacle Elite Agents who have qualified KHM Cash available may now apply all of their KHM Cash toward their Conference fare. However, KHM Cash cannot be applied once final payment is made. KHM Cash cannot be used toward the registration deposit.

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE IN LOS ANGELES?

As with all cruises, we suggest arriving a day prior to sailing to account for any delays that may occur. Please consult with Princess Cruises’ policy regarding Embarkation. Typical rule of thumb is all passengers must embark 2 hours prior to sail away. Please keep in mind that travel times on West Coast can vary, and allow yourself plenty of time to get to the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro’s World Cruise Center).

WILL THERE BE PRE- OR POST-CRUISE EVENTS?

There are no scheduled events prior to the cruise at this time. There is limited space available for a two-day onsite experience at Disneyland Resort following the cruise, February 14th-15th, 2019 It is only open to those who are registered for the 2019 Crystal Conference and Awards. Please contact [email protected] for more information on this post-cruise event. All other accommodations are on your own.

ARE THERE ANY KHM TRAVEL GROUP SPONSORED EXCURSIONS?

There are no KHM-sponsored excursions scheduled during our port days.  We want to allow agents and suppliers time to explore and network together. Our Suppliers are planning several excursions that travel agents will be able to register for starting in December. The excursions will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. An email with links to register for excursions will be sent in December.

WILL THERE BE ANY DISCOUNTS ON BEVERAGE/INTERNET PACKAGES?

There are no discounts on beverage or internet packages.

DO WE HAVE AN ASSIGNED DINING TIME?

We have Anytime Dining this year. There is no assigned seating. You may also choose to dine at specialty restaurants on-board which are an additional charge.

WHAT ABOUT PARKING AT PORT IN LOS ANGELES?

Each agent is responsible for their parking at port. There is no discounted parking for our group but there may be travel agent discounts available for parking with proof of credentials. Learn more about the Port of Los Angeles and getting to the cruise port here.
